HONORING + SAVING LIVES WITH CLEAN WATER
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” – John 4:14
The John 4:14 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) foundation sharing the hope of the Gospel through clean water projects in Uganda. By building wells, we connect families that have experienced a tragic loss to a Ugandan community in desperate need of a most basic resource: safe drinking water.
The clean water problem is a grave and massive global issue – nearly 5,000 children die daily due to a lack of clean water access and proper sanitation. According to our estimates, John 4:14 provides clean water for approximately 1,000,000 people in Uganda– and that number is quickly growing with your help.
Each well memorializes a short life on earth while honoring a loved one’s legacy through the gift of clean water as a testament of Christ’s love. John 4:14, based in Texas, is managed by a passionate board of entrepreneurs who are committed to sharing the Gospel, clean water, and being responsible stewards of your generous donations.
We look forward to partnering with you to bring clean water to the Ugandan people.
OUR STORY
The John 4:14 Foundation (previously the Holden Uganda Foundation) was founded in December 2010 to spread the love of Christ with people around the globe. Our initial project was to build nine wells in Uganda, though the Lord blessed us abundantly and we reached our goal in less than two months.
The John 4:14 vision is a multifaceted, international effort to mirror Christ’s love with both physical and spiritual water. Though our projects are in Africa, they provide spiritual nourishment here in the U.S. and abroad for grieving families who have experienced tragic loss. These families find comfort through these wells knowing they are saving lives and sharing the hope of the Gospel.
We’re honored to be part of this ministry and will continue as long as God directs us. Join us in providing clean water, love, and comfort to families here and in Uganda!
