Folsom Elementary School

With all the back to school "things" going on in the United States this time of year: teacher in-service, classroom preparation, parents getting the clothes, shoes, notebooks, backpacks, etc, all the "things" needed for school to start…….. We'd like you to take a moment today to be thankful. Thankful for the little things, like clean water. The kids you see in these pictures are going to school too, but now they get to drink clean water while attending! They are overjoyed, along with their teacher Pastor Paul. What a blessing clean water truly is, it brings life and hope!

Today we share with you well #127. The Nakateete Child Care Center holds 550 orphans, and a school within. The bore hole to the school had broken down over three years ago, with the closest water source a 1 km walk away.  In the 2013 spring semester Folsom Elementary School, in Prosper Texas raised enough funds to fix this well for the children here.
Pastor Paul Kakande sends a BIG THANK YOU from the children.
We would like to send a special thank you to coordinator Aimee Williams, students, staff, and parents of Folsom Elementary @FierceFolsom ………
you have forever changed the lives of the children at Nakateete Child Care Center.
